Baahubali The Lost Legends animation series launched, to have new stories about characters


Baahubali The Lost Legends animation series launched, to have new stories about characters – ‘Baahubali: The Lost Legends’, is said to be a new animation series which has been inspired by the director SS Rajamouli’s most popular Baahubali film franchise. This brand new animated series was launched on Wednesday by internet video-on-demand service Amazon prime video. Just a few days ahead of the theatrical release of historical saga Baahubali: The Conclusion, Amazon prime video had launched the animated series of this epic franchise.

This latest animation series has been made by the filmmaker in association with Graphic India and Arka Mediaworks. So, the audience can now watch the first episode of exclusive series, while the other episodes will be released on 19th of May onwards.

SS Rajamouli said in a statement that, “What we really managed to showcase in the movie is just the tip of the iceberg. From the minute I began working on this story, I knew that the world of Baahubali can’t be restricted to a film or two because there is more to tell and I think animation is another way to do that.”

” We are happy to be collaborating with Graphic India and Amazon in order to bring the Lost Legends to the audience with the help of Amazon prime video,” he added.

The launch of animation series unveils before the official release of Baahubali 2 on April 28th. The movie stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah in the lead roles.

The recently created animation series is set before Kalakeya invasion narrated in the movie when both Baahubali and Bhallaladeva are still young princes of Mahismati. It introduces new stories about the characters from the movie and several new characters that will explore the world of Baahubali in a completely new way and also reveal some hidden secrets to millions of fans.

The director and country head of Amazon prime video India, Nitesh Kripalani said that, “We are not thinking about any competition as we mainly looking forward to great content. So, we are happy to expand the biggest and greatest Baahubali franchise through this all new animated series.”
