Dangal all set to beat Baahubali-2, grossed over Rs 1,500 crore worldwide

Dangal which was Aamir Khan-starter based on real life wrestling drama has grossed around Rs 1,501 crore worldwide and approx 700+ crores in China, Which makes it second Indian film to gross over Rs 1,500 crore. Dangal under the surveillance of  Nitesh Tiwari has grossed more than Rs 700 crores ($113 million) in China resulting Dangal to be only non-Hollywood foreign grosser in the Chinese box office. It makes the threat to the S S Rajamouli’s action fantasy epic Baahubali: The Conclusion which is current highest grocer movie of India.

Dangal has grossed 1,501 crores till date which include Rs 731 crore from China and Rs 25.78 crore from Taiwan. According to Ramesh Bala (movie trade analyst), Danger has dethroned Guardians of the Galaxy-2 at Chinese box office in its second week and continues to be at the top since then.

In the Chinese box office charts, Dangal has dethroned Guardians of the Galaxy-2 in China in the second week and continues to be at the top since then.

Not forgetting the fact that Baahubali 2 is yet to be released in China. But unlike the first part which was very unable to make any impact on Chinese Boxoffice,  Baahubali’s producer Shobhu Yarlagadda is not going to repeat his mistake twice as he already made it clear on several occasions that this time he will release it with proper strategy in China, Taiwan, Japan, Latin American countries and among others.
