Irada is all about water contamination which can lead to serious disease like Cancer. The film which released yesterday buzzed the nation with its interesting edge of seat thriller concept and content. According to Irada Review by critics, the film has a good thought behind it and it mainly throws light on a grave issue that Punjab state is faced by. But it fails to serve the major purpose that they want to convey.
It started off well and after showcasing a decently riveting first half, the movie hasn’t showed any takeaways, comments or solutions to issue. As far as performances are concerns, the veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah who easily fit into any character and has given a wonderful performance as the ambitious father. While Arshad Warsi as an NIA officer does an impressive job and his funny tactics forms a slight comic relief in such type of serious movie. Especially, Sharad Kelkar and Divya Dutta’s role are too caricaturish.
Despite having strong star cast, the film fails to make requited influence. Its purpose is to create awareness but it does so in quite a manner.

Irada Ratings by Critics: 3/5 Stars
Irada Public Response on First Day
Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi’s latest venture showcases the disturbing truth of corruption in an intriguing film that is a mixture of good cast and a good team as well. Debutante Aparnaa Singh’s directorial flick is peppered with terms such as reverse boring, groundwater pollution and chemical contamination, but not something moviegoers normally expect from a Bollywood thriller. Thus the film was opened with an average note and as a result, Irada Public Response on First Day witnessed decent reviews across the country. However, with the cracking performances of the lead cast, the film is expected to show much-needed growth in coming days.
