Ranbir Kapoor and Karan Johar to reunite on the big screen – After the huge success of their last outing together, 2016’s super hit romantic drama flick ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ reportedly the filmmaker Karan Johar and the Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor are all set to reunite again. The actor is all set to sign the film; however, the official announcement related to the same will be made as early as possible when Karan Johar will finalize the female lead of the film. It is also being reported that the untitled film will go on floors next year after Ranbir Kapoor wraps upcoming biographical film which is based on the life journey of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt and Karan Johar’s own production venture’ Dragon’ alongside Alia Bhatt which has been directed by Ayan Mukerji.

Interestingly, we all know it was Karan Johar’s film that got Ranbir his much-needed success after a series of flop movies. Also, his last film before Ae Dil Hai Mushkil too was produced under Karan Johar’s own production house.

If the reports of them reuniting are true or it just a pointless rumor like the one which was doing rounds since a few months ago, where the director was keen on casting Bollywood heartthrob Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor for a film.

On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor will next appear in Anurag Basu’s directorial venture Jagga Jassos. The detective comedy has been in the making for quite some time now and hopefully it is able to find its release date soon. The film also features Katrina Kaif in the lead.

Also, Ranbir will be seen playing the role of Sanjay Dutt in his biopic which is being directed Rajkumar Hirani. The actor has already impressed everyone with his sheer dedication towards the role. It is reported that from September 2017, he will start shooting for Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Dragon’ which also stars Alia Bhatt in the key role.
